Blackberry showing white screen?

Your Blackberry not showing anything but pure white? Incoming call and messages still successful delivered to your Blackberry but you need to check the messages urgently before send to repair? You can use BBScreenStream to display the output to your PC / Laptop :-) Connect your Blackberry to BBScreenStream to backup and wipe your data before send to repair :-)

BBScreenStream is a small tool to constantly capture the current screen of a Blackberry and display or record it on the PC.

Requirements:
· It relies on the original Javaloader.exe from RIM (JavaLoader.exe is available on the BlackBerry homepage in the developers section as part of the JDE components 4.x).
· A BlackBerry OS version of v4.0.2 or higher is required.
· The Blackberry Desktop Manager or Device Manager has to be installed on the PC.
· The Blackberry needs to be connected via USB.
· If you have content protection enabled, screenshots of a locked screen will not work.
· The multimedia area (cam, videos) of devices since the PEARL cannot be captured.

Nuke your Blackberry Device Software

Want to reinstall your Blackberry Device Software but Loader or Blackberry Desktop Manager keep prompting you in latest software version? Try below steps to wipe your device software to reinstall a fresh one :)

What is JL_Cmder?
JL_Cmder stands for JavaLoader Commander. JavaLoader is a command line tool provided by BlackBerry. JL_Cmder simplifies accessing the most commonly used JavaLoader commands.

Whats new in v1.9.3?
Now works with Windows 7 and on 64bit OS.
Fixed verbage on a couple of screens.
Updated JavaLoader.exe.
No functionality changes.
Fixed 1.9.2 install issue.

Are there any system requirements?
Yes. You must install BlackBerry Desktop Manager or BlackBerry USB and Modem Drivers. Both are available from the BlackBerry website

What can JL_Cmder do?
Below is a brief overview of the available commands.
  1. deviceinfo - Displays information about the handheld.
  2. eventlog - Retrives and displays the handheld event log.
  3. screenshot - Takes a picture of the handheld screen. (OS 4.0.2+ required)
  4. wipe - Erases the handheld OS. Not really, but that is the simpleist way to explain it. After using the "wipe" command the device will be completely inoperative until the OS is reinstalled. (Error 507 will be displayed on the device)
  5. resettofactory - Removes the IT Policy from the device and wipes the device of personal data while leaving the OS installed and usable. (OS 4.3+ required).
NOTE: If you want to use an unlisted JavaLoader command select Command-Line Usage from the menu. This will display JavaLoader help information including syntax and all available commands.

Installation Instructions
  1. Download JL_Cmder v1.9.3.zip.
  2. Extract executable.
  3. Double-click on executable.

Blackberry App Errors Code

* 101 Internal JVM error.
* 102 Invalid code in file system. The .cod files in the handheld have been checked for modification and it has been determined that there is a problem with one or more .cod files.
* 103 The starting address for the boot .cod file cannot be found. This might mean that a boot .cod file has not been installed on the handheld, or that its format is invalid or corrupt.
* 104 An uncaught Java exception was thrown in the Java code and diagnosed by the JVM. Execution can be continued or the handheld can be attached to a debugger on a desktop through a serial or USB cable. The event log should contain the traceback of the thrown exception.
* 105 An OS file system API returned an error status for a certain operation. This can indicate a corrupt file system or an error in the JVM.
* 106 An error has been detected in the graphics system of the handheld.
* 107 Internal JVM error.
* 108 Internal JVM error.
* 109 Internal OS error.
* 110 Non-idle event downtime error. A problem has been detected in the accumulation of JVM down time that represents how long the JVM has been idle. This indicates an error in either the OS code or the JVM code.
* 200 Application manager threw an uncaught exception. The application manager event thread threw an uncaught exception and so cannot continue running.
* 201 Initialization of the cryptographic system failed and the handheld cannot continue to operate.
* 202 An attack on the key store has been detected, and the handheld cannot continue to operate.
* 203 The application manager console process, usually the Home screen ribbon, has failed, like due to an uncaught exception.
* 501 Internal error.
* 502 All processes exited. The last Java process has terminated, and there is nothing left to execute.
* 503 Internal error.
* 504 Internal error.
* 505 Internal error.
* 506 An uncaught Java exception was thrown in the initial VM Java thread thus killing the only live thread in the system. The event log contains the traceback for the exception.
* 507 A dependency on a .cod file could not be satisfied due to a missing .cod file. Load the missing .cod file onto the handheld.
* 508 Invalid object. A problem has been detected with a debugger command to the VM.
* 516 Error occurred during garbage collection, which might indicate a corrupted file system.
* 510 All threads are waiting on objects, which results in a deadlock. The system cannot recover from this state since no thread can release a lock.
* 511 A problem has occurred during debugging.
* 515 The reachable objects form a group that cannot be represented properly by the VM because there are too many objects or the total size of the objects is too large.
* 516 When committing a persistent object, the VM found that the persistent store id counter has reached its limit. The object was not committed.
* 517 An inconsistency has been detected in the VM persistent object store.
* 518 Internal error.
* 519 Internal error.
* 520 Internal error.
* 521 Indicates that Object.wait() has been executed by a thread that holds a lock on another object; occurs only in simulator if the JvmDebugWaits application switch.
* 522 A thread has acquired two locks on objects in an order that doesn’t match the order that previous locks for the two types were acquired, which indicates a future potential deadlock situation; reported only in the simulator when the JvmDebugLocks application switch is set.
* 523 A critical Java process has died and the device cannot continue to operate normally.
* 524 An object has been marked as recovered by the Low Memory Manager but it was not freed during a garbage collection. This is only checked in the simulator under the control of the JvmDebugLMM application switch.
* 525 Bad persistent object. An auto-commit operation during a garbage collection has detected a non-persistent object reachable from the persistent store root. The type of the object has been output into the event log.
* 526 The class definition for java.lang.Object cannot be found.
* 527 The class definition for java.lang.String cannot be found.
* 528 The file system is corrupted. Data on the handheld is unrecoverable.
* 529 The file system is corrupted. An attempt is going to be made to recover data, but some data might be lost.
* 530 Internal JVM error.
* 531 Flash memory has been exhausted.
* 532 A JVM assertion has been violated. This error can occur only in the simulator, not on an actual handheld.

BBM v6.1 (Beta) is here: Personalized, Customized, and Animated Avatars

BBM v6.1
Hey everyone! Sonia’s back with a great new beta app update to a particular #TeamBlackBerry favorite…read on for all the details! – Ed.
Great news #TeamBlackBerry! The beta version of BlackBerry® Messenger (BBM™) v6.1 is available for download from BlackBerry® Beta Zone — now you’ll have even more ways to personalize your messages – and add a little fun – including animated avatars, fun new emoticons, customized colored chat bubbles, increased character count for personal messages and display picture integration.
We’re glad to share that many of these new personalization features were added due to popular request from our BBM community and beta testers.
Let’s take a look at these new BBM features in more detail.
Smiling BBM avatar Laughing BBM avatar In Love BBM avatar
Animated avatars – We’ve added a new dimension to the options on your BBM display picture – animated avatars! These avatars use controlled animation, which means that motion is activated when you scroll over the avatar. Three animated avatars are available as part of this beta as a sneak peek (including a “smile,” “laughter” and “in love”). We’re planning to add a larger selection of animated avatars after the beta trial is completed. You can access these avatars when changing your display picture within the Avatars folder. (Note: Animated avatars are only supported on BlackBerry® smartphone OS 5.0 and higher.)
BBM emoticons
12 new emoticons – A picture is worth a thousand words, or so the saying goes. With the addition of 12 fun emoticons in your BBM catalog, there are now more ways for you to express yourself and personalize messages to your friends. These new emoticons were created based on suggestions from customers participating in beta trials – look for more to come in future releases. And please make sure to leave us a comment and let us know what other emoticons you’d like to see. We’re listening!
Increased character count for personal messages – Whether it’s keeping your contacts posted on your whereabouts or sharing your mood for the day, you can now say more in your regular updates to your BBM friends. We’ve more than doubled the size of your personal message space to 160 characters, so that you can now share your trials and tribulations in much greater detail.
Colored chat bubbles – BBM users can now customize the color of chat bubbles for contacts. With 10 colors to choose from, you can pre-assign colors to your contacts by simply going into your BBM contacts’ profile and selecting a desired contact chat color. This feature is great for organizing the many BBM contacts you have and makes it easier to recognize types of conversations (I’m assigning colors to work, friends, and family. My boss is blue, my family is yellow, and colleagues and friends will get their own color-coding, too.)
BBM v6.1
Camera/Display Picture Integration – Now you’ll be able to snap a picture and display it right away! There are now fewer steps between taking that great picture with your BlackBerry smartphone and making it your BBM Display Picture. Now you can update your BBM avatar right from the BlackBerry smartphone camera app by selecting “Set as BBM Display Picture” from the menu options.
Check out all of these fun new features for the beta version of BBM v6.1 by downloading it from BlackBerry Beta Zone today. Don’t forget to leave us a comment and let us know what you think!

How to solve Blackberry 9900 battery drain issue.

News!!! Join as MyBerryWorld member to win weekly free gift! Click here for more details!

share a tutorial about how to upgrade & shrink blackberry 9900 os, as we know Dakota (bb9900) on their default setting has very high battery drain, but with a little tuning & correct setting all the problem above can be avoided and you don’t event have to buy a spare battery.
DISCLAIMER
Do it with your own risk, by upgrading the os you will have possibility to brick your blackberry and if you bought the blackberry from the local operator with official 1 year warranty, upgrading os to different carrier may void the warranty
I had done little research in many dakota operating system versions & found that os version 7.0.0.440 has the best battery life & memory management so far, until now i’ve applied the method above to all of my customers who bought blackberry 9900 from my shop, and they seemed very happy with the result, the combination is Blackberry Dakota + OS 7.0.0.440 + shrink os BB Boss v2.2 + set 2G network
and if you want to try up my method, below i’ve described the step by step tutorial
Preparation :
before we continue please prepare & download all the files & applications below
1. BBSAK
2. BB Boss v 2.2 & download attachment file settting shrink bb bos pd email ini
3. Blackberry 9900 os 7.0.0.440
4. Newest Desktop Manager for Windows
5. Screen Shot of my settings on bb9900
6. BB Boss v 2.2 Shrink Setting bb9900
Step by step instructions :

Click BB Boss icon on your desktop pc and on the middle top, theres drop down box, click there & choose OS 7.0.0.440 for 9900 after that Click File on the top left corner – Import – locate the shrink setting template that i’ve previously given before (point no 6 on Preparation Steps) or you can open my screen shot for instant (point no 5 on Preparation Steps), and please do remember to ALWAYS delete Social Feeds because that application is consumes high battery that can have effect on serious battery drain
5. On the lower right corner click “modify os on disk”
6. Backup all your data using usb cable & using blackberry desktop manager, make sure choose “backup all data or full backup”
7. if your blackberry has password, please deactivate it before we continue to the next steps, open BBSAK & after your device connected click wipe
8. after blackberry has been wipe completely (you’ll see white background with “error jvm” on the blackberry screen) open AppLoader (c:/program files/common files/research in motion/loader (search for cellphone icon described as “loader”)
9. click app loader and follow the on screen command, basically you just need to hit “next” few times until you see application selection (please install only standard application, do not install language or any other unimportant apps and click next
10. if you do all the steps correctly, you’ll notice the blackberry will be reboot, after booting completely, please repeat the booting step 2 – 3x times by pulling the battery out, until the booting process faster than before
11. final process is restoring your data using desktop manager, make sure you have 3G with more than 50% signal and if you have high speed wifi internet connection i suggest you to turn on wifi & connect Blackberry to your hotspot, this to ensure the restoration data for your BBM contacts, groups etc will be perfectly restored & speed up the restoration process, during the process DO NOT use your blackberry for about 2 hours (or you will get errors & your data wouldn’t completely restored)

RIM Launches Blackberry Bold 9790 and Blackberry Curve 9380

Canadian smartphone manufacturerResearch In Motion has announced today in Jakarta two new models from the series running the new operating system Blackberry 7. Thenew smartphonesBlackBerry Bold 9790 andBlackBerry Curve 9380, will be offering a unique design and an impressive suite of features.

BlackBerry Bold 9790
The new model from Bold family does not differ very much from the previous 9900. The only difference worth mentioning is its design. BlackBerry Bold 9790 has embossed buttons over the QWERTY keyboard, while the device’s back looks very much like BlackBerry Torch 9850. The new Bold presents – like the BlackBerry 9900 – a touchscreen in addition to the physical QWERTY keyboard.

BlackBerry Bold 9790 has a 1GHz processor, NFC support and an internal memory of 8GB, which can be easily expanded with a microSD card.

BlackBerry Curve 9380
Curve series has always been designed for customers who want an affordable and powerfulBlackBerry device and the new model does not disappoint. BlackBerry Curve 9380 is very similar toBlackBerry Storm, being the first device in Curve series with a 3.2-inch touchscreen. The new Curvepresents a lot of social media applications preinstalled, such as Twitter, Facebook, BlackBerryMessenger or Social Feeds.

BlackBerry Curve 9380 is expected to have a 5-megapixel camera and a 800GHz processor with 1GB of storing memory.

Rumors inside RIM say that their brand new BlackBerry Bold 9790 and BlackBerry Curve 9380 will be available globally in the next few weeks, but they didn’t disclose any pricing details.
