1. How to differentiate whether it is original set or AP set?
2. Heard about china set? was it an AP set?

ReplyDelete1.) Currently only BringhtStar is eligible to distribute original set. Ori set will come with Brightstar warranty card and make sure the seal is new.
2.) Some reseller define China set is AP as well because both warranty is claim from the seller. You can not send your AP set to others shop or Brightstar to claim warranty. Please bear in mind China set consists of many grade, like 1 week new set and etc ... Of course some unit might be refurbish set, meaning they repaired rejected units change housing claim as new unit :(. There is no way to check refurbish unit unless you dismantle the Blackberry.
3.) If you prefer or would like to experience touch screen you can go for Torch. Else if you need a better battery life and performance Blackberry BB9780 is your choice. From my personal point of view BB9780 is better because it enhance Blackberry features (BB strength is QWERTY keypad not touch screen), more accessories and maintenance is cheaper :p
